🖍️ Our KS2 staff brought the colour for World Book Day! 🖍️ Dressed as the very opinionated crayons from The Day the Crayons Quit, our KS2 teachers proved that every colour — and every character — has a story to tell.

📚✨ A firm favourite and one of our World Book Day school traditions, classes spent the morning transforming their doors. From “Oh help! Oh no! It’s a Gruffalo!” and daring dragons to the out-of-this-world Beegu… our corridors are full of reading magic.

📚✨ World Book Day at Brookwood! ✨📚 Today our teachers stepped straight out of the pages of some of our favourite stories! From Elmer the patchwork Elephant to the rebellious crayons from The Day the Crayons Quit. We spotted Silky from The Magic Faraway Tree, a practically perfect Mary Poppins, the curious cards from Alice in Wonderland, the classic Snow White, book-loving Belle, mischievous Little Bunny Foo Foo, and even Grandma from George’s Marvellous Medicine! Stories bring imagination to life, spark creativity, and take us on adventures without ever leaving the classroom. Today is all about celebrating the joy of books and the wonderful characters who inspire us to read.
