🌺 Remembrance Day 🌺
On November 4th, our KS2 children (Years 3–6) took part in their annual walk to Brookwood Military Cemetery, reflecting on the significance of Remembrance Day and paying their respects to those who served.
Across the school, pupils took part in meaningful activities to help them understand and commemorate this important time of year. Here are just a few snapshots:
❤️ Nursery created a beautiful large poppy collage using mixed media.
🌿 Reception explored poppies through loose parts, playdough, and natural materials.
🎨 Year 1 produced thoughtful watercolor paintings inspired by remembrance.
✍️ Year 6 wrote moving poems reflecting on courage, sacrifice, and peace.
🌺 Military Club collaborated on a striking poppy artwork to honour service members.
👟 Junior Leadership Team visited classrooms to raise awareness, and pupils donated money for poppy pins and wristbands in support of this important cause.
We are proud of the empathy, creativity, and respect shown by all of our pupils as we remember together.
Lest we forget. 🌺

🥣✨ “It’s Just Right!” ✨🥄
Recently, Willow Class have been reading Goldilocks and the Three Bears 🐻 — and we made our own porridge in the cozy Wellbeing Hub! Lots of happy faces, empty bowls, and even a few requests for seconds 😋💛 We created a pictograph to show if our porridge was too hot, too cold, or just right… and most of us thought it was just right! 🌟 Topped with a choice of blueberries, bananas, honey, and syrup — delicious!

🦷 Do you want to know how different drinks affect your teeth? 🥤🥚
Rowan Class have been learning about teeth as a part of the digestive system in science.
We placed eggs (to represent tooth enamel) in water, orange juice, milk, and cola to see what would happen. The results were amazing — swipe look at those shells! 👀
Now Rowan Class all know why it’s so important to brush our teeth twice a day! 🪥✨
